Materials used in paver and brick production are generally proportional to machine capacities. Our customers wonder how much material they need to use per day depending on our machines' pressing capacities. In this blog post, we detail aggregate (sand, cement, water) ratios and how much raw material is needed according to our machines' daily production capacities.
Main materials used in paver, brick and kerb production:
Sand: The fundamental building block for product durability.
Cement: The binder that provides hardening and strength.
Water: Initiates chemical reactions and ensures mix consistency.
Average Material Ratios
The following material ratios can generally be used:
Sand: 60-70%
Cement: 10-15%
Water: 15-20%
These ratios may vary depending on product type and quality. However, these averages are common in paver and brick production.
Daily Production Capacities of Our Machines and Raw Material Requirements
Our machines serve a wide range in terms of production capacity. Considering production capacities, material quantities can be calculated approximately as follows:
Our Highest Capacity Machine:
Interlocking Paver Production: For a machine producing 45,000 pavers per day, approximately 100-120 tons of sand, 12-15 tons of cement and 15-18 tons of water are required.
Brick Production (20x40x20 cm): For daily production of 18,000-20,000 bricks, approximately 40-50 tons of sand, 5-7 tons of cement and 5-7 tons of water are used.
Our Lowest Capacity Machine:
Interlocking Paver Production: For a machine producing 10,000-12,000 interlocking pavers per day, approximately 25-30 tons of sand, 3-4 tons of cement and 3-4 tons of water are required.
Brick Production (20x40x20 cm): For daily production of 3,000-5,000 bricks, an average of 8-12 tons of sand, 1-2 tons of cement and 1-2 tons of water are used.
Calculating Raw Material Requirements
To help our customers calculate more clearly how much raw material they will need per day using our machines, the information above can serve as a guide according to product type and production capacity. You can access more information on each machine's production capacity on our website and select the machines suited to your needs.
